Condoms - easy but not always possible and may be difficult if you have just started being sexually active

Pills - not the emergency pills the hormonal contraceptive pills are better than condom but you always hear stories of people becoming pregnant on pill. One reason is it comes as tablet for 30 days, so every time you miss a pill tht rate of failure increases. There are side effects to this which some people experience more than others. Also you need to disclose it to doctor if you need other medications as there could be drug interaction.
Simply put, if you take meticulously it will be effective.

Implant - There is an implant that is inserted into arm, its hormonal therefore contraceptive. I haven't heard good things about it. People I know had side effects and got it taken out.

IUD - I feel these are the best. Where I live, these are routinely used. Short procedure to get it placed in uterus. And in future if you want to reproduce, you can get it taken out and you are good to go. No need to find condom or remember to take pills, so its convenient. Some people use copper T, others hormone releasing Mirena. The homone one again can have side effects like weight gain, skin problems and more hairs. That said, for others it does not cause anything and it gets the job done. Not many people know this, but these devices have expiry and need to be replaced after some years.
Both pills and IUD reduce intensity of menstruation - low bleeding and less cramps. So thats an added benefit.

Finding the right contraceptive is a trial and errors can be both blessing and curse. If people dont want to find themselves with unwanted pregnancy, they will take contraceptive seriously.

I also agree with you.Although this method is a bit uncomfortable for some, it is safer than other methods. And the biggest advantage is that side effects are very less. Moreover, it can be removed from the uterus and become pregnant again at will.

Truth be told, each one has it's pros and cons however, IUD and condoms are the go to things especially in India. The female condom may not feel comfy for all users.
Olden days it was copper T now that's obsolete. I wouldn't advice pills because of its side effects

Tbh every method have thier own side effects....every pill / implant / spiral ... have ...but its not mean you will get all of them. The most people will not have any or just mild. if we were to look at the side effects nobody will take any medicine at all .

According to me it's IUDs are the best... It has less side effects and you can tell tht this is foolproof...

In my opinion pull out is the best, if the person is experienced have proper control. And as others said Naval, boobs and mouth is the best to cum. Else go for IUD for long term and for instant requirements condom or pills is the best.

Pill is not effective in immediate urgency cases who were not taking it and have much side effects also. So in my opinion, condom is better than pill

I am permanently out of this thread , it’s so suffocating to be amongst the doctors.

the pull out is a Myth with or without control, you still can get pregnant even if your partner pulls out in time. This is because a small amount of pre-ejaculate semen is released before ejaculation. There is sperm in this small amount of semen, which can lead to pregnancy if you're ovulating.
