What is more important in a relationship, your ego or the love you feel for that person?

The battle between ego and love is a clash of pride and surrender. Ego demands to be right; love seeks to understand. Ego builds walls; love breaks them down. Ego fears vulnerability; love thrives in it. When ego wins, love fades. But when love wins, ego dissolves, leaving only connection and peace.

True love isn't about losing yourself—it's about letting go of the need to always be in control. The real victory is when love humbles ego, making space for something deeper and more beautiful.

For me :
I m ready to kiss his feet in front of the whole world, if he'll be with me forever❤️

That's quite a romantic sentiment! It sounds like you're deeply in love and willing to make a grand gesture to show your devotion. Remember to communicate your feelings with your partner in a way that feels authentic and comfortable for both of you.

Love should always take precedence over ego in a relationship. Ego creates walls, while love builds bridges. When conflicts arise, choosing love means prioritizing understanding, compromise, and connection over the need to be "right" or to protect one's pride.

However, this doesn’t mean you should sacrifice self-respect. A healthy relationship requires mutual respect, where both partners are willing to listen, grow, and make efforts for each other. Love without ego leads to a bond that is deep, fulfilling, and long-lasting.

That’s beautifully said! Ego thrives on control and self-preservation, while love flourishes in vulnerability and connection. When love overcomes ego, relationships become a space of trust, understanding, and emotional safety.

Letting go of ego doesn’t mean losing self-respect—it means choosing growth over stubbornness, empathy over pride, and connection over distance. In the end, the strongest relationships are those where both partners uplift each other, not where one constantly needs to "win."

Love is happy when it is able to give something.
The person you love is more important. In this world finding true love is really difficult. If you find then you should protect and nourished it.
I think ego will destroyed everything . when there is love then there no place for ego. If there is ego then it's not a true love.

Even though everyone agrees that love would be the priority, in real time there isn't a relationship that exist without ego ;).

But, Understanding and spending time together builds the trust in a time span, which helps to differentiate whether it's the Ego which influences the feelings or that's the natural behaviour of the person in expressing their love..
It depends on how we take it.

Self - respect is very important in a relationship and that wouldn't happen until you stop judging & start trusting.

Where ego wins, love fades away.
But where love wins, only peace remains❤️

Love isn’t just about grand gestures...
it’s found in the smallest moments.
Wht comes from the heart is the true essence of love✨

Where ego exists, distances grow....
Where love exists, bonds deepen...
