Why do we love ?

But not as much as when you share it with anyone else. Not because you are lonely, sometimes when you love some unloving people they often times make you feel more lonely instead, whereas when u reminisce your time alone it was more happier
Very true!!

And point to be noted, the love that counts is only SELFLESS LOVE. And when you go to that equation, most of your family members, relatives, neighbors, peers, colleagues, friends, bf, gf, and quote and unquote BEST FRIEND all fade away :Cwl: Then only your parents and a dearth of people would remain who might visit you when you fall sick or go to hospital! (For god's sake, we and our families remain fit, healthy, happy and never fall sick and go to hospital).

It says that 'LOVE' is the most valuable thing in the universe. But we fail to understand the 'LOVE' is always SELFLESS LOVE. But sadly, we love in terms of anything except love(I am on the same boat though). That's why, it says, only our parents love us unconditionally. Even most of the times we could not love ourselves as much as our parents do. And you know the irony is we know all these, still we chase for love behind them who would not love us and we ignore our parents who really love us selflessly( exceptions are always present).

Nowadays many people talk about SELF LOVE but very few talk about SELFLESS LOVE which is the funda of love.
There are some parents who dont even love their children like how any other parents would. Anyone who are capable of love , will reflect it on how they treat someone. Regardless of who they are.

Yes. Nobody could love you the way you wanted to, mostly anyone tend to get disappointed if they dont receive the same amount of love. That being said, the person is being dependent and should assess themselves, are they loving theirselves enough? Not that they dont know how to love, but bcos theyre self compromised and being "needy". To reach that selfless love perception, one must know how to love themselves . Coz after all it is us who knows ourselves better. If we dont love ourselves enough, we wouldnt even really know how to love others.

Selfless love exists , but be open to learn or explore the ways of how u love. Just like how we constantly learning how to be happy.

Oh my brother!! U just nailed it!
Hi didi! Firstly thank you and I love you

I was youtubing just now and listening to a song of Justin Bieber - 'Stay'. There he says-

I do the same thing, I told you that I never would
I told you I changed, even when I knew I never could
I know that I can't find nobody else as good as you
I need you to stay, need you to stay, hey

And all of a sudden, he reveals
I'll be fucked up if you can't be right here!!
This song gets
605M Views and 9.4M likes on youtube. No offense, I also liked the song and I enjoyed the melody and the vocal of JB. I don't shame him in any way. I like him as a singer and he has huge fanbase definitely with many reasons.

Again, after being done and dusted with the song, I just shuffled and Robi Thakur's song 'Amaro Porano Jaha Chay' (That which my heart desires) started to play. There he says-
Without you I lie desolate,
In your thoughts shall I reside,
The long days, the longing nights,
The years and the months that pass.
If elsewhere you find your love,
If, to me you never return,
May you get what your heart desires,
And I shall bear all the sorrows.
Now this song gets only 63K Views and 1.9K likes only!

Now tbh I am really confused with these two approaches of love with hell and heaven difference. (or heaven and hell?! IDK)
No, I am not at all concerned with the likes and views ratio or the youtube algorithm. I am just confused with those two different approaches or view points.
Also I retrospected myself and I know that I was not either (so much) needy or (so much) selfless in love. I stand in between.
Also i'm pretty confused with Tagor's lines, singing in front of a toxic or cheater partner that I shall bear all the sorrows :rofl1:

@SiRa didi, could you please hear both of the songs (Tagore's song is in bengali but the lyrics will come up in english, only for you ;)) and quench my doubts? Will be waiting for you and thank you in advance :bandid:

Love both Justin Bieber and Arijit Singh s voice, not digging deep into the lyrics..i feel everyone's approach and perspective on love is different,..in my view.. selfless love comes with lot of practice and patience...but we count on people we love, if they call it expectations yes it is expectations and without expectations only we can love celebrities..like i do love RICKY MARTIN.. haha :D..

According to me
  • Because without it ,an infant would be left isolated ,would stop to grow , stop to develop and finally would die! Parents love.
  • So that ,there is someone who laughs on our stupidity, gives honest advice, be with us even if they are thousands mile away, one who celebrate with us at our best but love us at our worst. -Best friend love.
  • To avoid loneliness. “Air is everywhere but we still need a fan to feel it” So having lots of loved ones still we need a -Lover.
  • To maintain peace -Love others
  • God definetly listens, understands and knows the hopes and fears you keep in your heart. For when you trust in His love, miracles happen! God's love
And most importantly you need to love yourself because no one is going to love you if you don't Love yourself.
:heart1:

Nevertheless, U cant explain everything in just a single answer for questions about love. Love's everywhere, its we people who dont recognise and realise in reality. Love is not about doing, its how we live, and its way of living your life and should never be a destination.
