Whispers of Tomorrow
"How fast does time move?"
~Aparnah
In streets where dresses rise so high,
A fleeting trend, before goodbye.
Tomorrow's dawn, a new disguise,
Sweaters wrap, in cozy surprise.
Time's swift breeze, with whispers low,
Blows by, and we're left to know,
The sky above, a brilliant hue,
A constant truth, for me and you.
I yearn for love, a heart to claim,
Perhaps tomorrow, or the next day's fame.
Hearts entwined, like pieces fit,
A puzzle solved, with tender wit.
But alas, he's my other half,
Leaving soon, with a distant laugh.
Enemies we may, in bitter strife,
Moving on, without a guiding life.
In queues we wait, with anxious sighs,
As time flees by, with whispered goodbyes.
I gaze up high, at the blue above,
And ask the skies, "How fast does time move?"

Living in a city where, the changes are so detectable, I asked to myself this question today looking at the clear bright sunny sky. ( hoping for a cool winter night)
