I have observed that people, including myself, tend to change their personalities based on an important person or situation at hand.
This is not being fake, rather it is about keeping my inner core away from emotional danger.
For instance, I might portray a "sigma" image while at work dealing with heavy situations, yet, while someone I love cares about me, my softer "alpha" side comes out.
Such shifts help me navigate various spaces of my life without losing a sense of who I really refer to myself on the inside.
The ability to adapt, then, comes to me as a strength; emotional intelligence—the ability to read situations, relate to people, and preserve my inner peace is evident.
It is not about acting other than myself but about growth into the more complete version of myself.
Every role worn-strong, vulnerable, quiet, expressive-gives more dimension to my personality, helping me bond more deeply to others. It is learning, coming to terms with it, and establishing balance in life.
In my opinion, such versatility is just so beautiful because that is what makes humans; I grow onto these, give strong connections to this, and push myself onto resilience and challenges.
Rather than feeling like I am hiding, I consider this the best way of bringing my best self into every moment.
