Stand still

BellaLuna

Favoured Frenzy
I stand tall, didn't bow
I stand still, as if
A necrosed foot
The wind of autumn ruined
My peace.

But me!
I remained still,
Like the dead.
I whisper to my heart,
"A little more patience."
I never complain
For the leaves that left me.
I stand tall,
Watching them leave me,
One by one.
I stand still,
For every leaf that sinks
Into the soil.

But now,
I'm tired.
My heart bleeds,
And my feet ache.
Oh! not necrosed but alive,
I stand still,
I stand tall.

I stand tall, didn't bow
I stand still, as if
A necrosed foot
The wind of autumn ruined
My peace.

But me!
I remained still,
Like the dead.
I whisper to my heart,
"A little more patience."
I never complain
For the leaves that left me.
I stand tall,
Watching them leave me,
One by one.
I stand still,
For every leaf that sinks
Into the soil.

But now,
I'm tired.
My heart bleeds,
And my feet ache.
Oh! not necrosed but alive,
I stand still,
I stand tall.
Still I stand, though weary and worn,
Roots deep, though my heart is torn.
Leaves may leave, the winds may call,
Yet here I stand—tired, but tall.

And peace.

Still, I stand, though my heart may ache,
Holding love, for love’s own sake.
Winds may whisper, storms may cry,
Yet I stand strong, I don’t ask why.

Leaves may leave, but I remain,
Not with anger, not with pain.
For love endures, though time may bend,
I stand, I stay without an end.

No matter what, my love remains.

❤️ ❤️ :heart1:

This one is magnificent and profound. We can learn love from a tree or the person who planted the tree knowing they are never gonna take shelter under the tree nor receive its fruits yet planted it so that others can get it. Very well written!
