Without starting place, trip days, budget suggestions are difficult to provide.
If you are from TN and like beef go to Kerala any place you won’t regret. If you are going food alone in TN itself go to Madurai both atleast need 4 days

I'm form TN, budget 15-20k..explored Kerala a lot, south Tn also some what's covered..

Suggest something in Andra,Karnataka or up north.

Ever read a book “ The Motorcycle Diaries” or watched a movie with same title? It’s about Che Guevara! His journey was to travel differing countries , but it gives an idea on how to get prepared for a travel .

Or even try different travelogues.

Few things I would suggest.
- don’t keep all the credit cards at one place
- don’t compromise on water
- keep in emergency contact number in pocket
- carry a Swiss Knife

You have to be in absolute vagabond mode , if the whole idea is to explore. Travel even in a goods train ?! It’s an experience or in trucks.

Happy that at least you have made up your mind to travel!

If it’s Andhra - I would suggest as below

- Amaravathi
- travel by boat from rajahmundry to Bhadrachalam
- Vizag

As its close by - visit Hyderabad too! Do not miss to roam around in Old City.
