**Missing**

Since morning it's the third time I'm visiting this thread...
I wanted to reply the first time I read it but couldn't because my emotions were over flowing...
Each line of this poem is full of pain.
Some may smile, but still feel pain,
Some may laugh, but hide the rain.
Even those who seem so bright,
Cry alone in the quiet night.

Many pretend, many hide,
Many hold hurt deep inside.
Even the ones who seem okay,

Struggle to make it through each day.
When I reached here
The sting of memories broke me and my cheeks soaked in tears I couldn't hold back.

Your emotions speak louder than words. When a poem holds so much pain, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed. Some feelings just can't be put into words easily.:smile1:

Are you missing far away?
Or standing close with words to say?
Are you missing days before,
The smiles, the warmth, the open door?

Did the world hurt you so deep,
That you left without a peep?
Did no one see the pain inside,

The silent tears you tried to hide?

Some may smile, but still feel pain,

Some may laugh, but hide the rain.
Even those who seem so bright,
Cry alone in the quiet night.

Many pretend, many hide,
Many hold hurt deep inside.
Even the ones who seem okay,

Struggle to make it through each day.

Maybe some were glad you left,

Maybe some felt lost, bereft.
But not all forget so fast,
Some hold on, some make it last.

Come back, friend, don’t go away,
Stay with us one more day.
Not all are selfish, not all deceive,

Some still wait, some still believe.

You are wanted, you are dear,
Let your sorrow rest right here.
The world is hard, but kindness stays,
A little light in darkened days.

Come back, friend, don’t fade from sight,

There’s still hope, and there’s still light.

Nicely written, good one  :clapping:

This is going to take sometime for my brain to process, because it hit me so hard, like really really hard...

beautifully written, so true and relatable...

When something strikes that deep, it’s not just words—it’s a feeling, a reflection of something within you. Let it settle, let it speak.
