Last cry
~Jaanuu
They cried for the last time for me,
Their tears like rain falling from the sky,
Each drop a symbol of their love and sorrow,
For the one who had bid them goodbye.
They loved me so deeply for one last time,
Their hearts overflowing with emotion,
Memories of laughter and joy intertwined,
In a shade of devotion.
They prayed so genuinely for one last time,
Bowing their heads in silent supplication,
Pleading for my peace and happiness,
In their final act of adoration.
I lived in everyone's memory for one last time,
A ghostly presence lingering in their minds,
A whisper in the wind, a flicker in the flame,
A love that transcends space and time.
Enemies being friends,
Forgiveness replacing animosity,
A reconciliation of past grievances,
In the face of my imminent mortality.
Haters being lovers,
Hearts softening with regret,
Realizing the futility of bitterness,
When faced with the final sunset.
Everything and everyone bloomed in fond of me,
The world seemed to shimmer with my essence,
Each flower, each tree, each blade of grass,
A reflection of my lasting presence.
For one last time,
I lived in everyone's heart,
A beacon of light in the darkness,
A reminder of love's enduring art.
They cried and cried,
Their tears a river of grief,
But I haven't known,
For I'm beyond the reach of mortal belief.
Because I'm far away,
In a place of peace and rest,
Where I can feel everyone's heart,
And know that I am truly blessed.
In the shades of life, we are all but threads,
Interwoven in a grand design,
And though my physical form may have passed,
My spirit will forever shine.
So let them cry for me, one last time,
Let them love and pray and remember,
For in their hearts, I shall always reside,
A rare soul, an eternal ember.
