Makar Sakranti, the festival of Harvesting also known as the festival of kite flying. On this day we have a tradition to eat Til Gur and Khichadi. Khichadi is one of the classic dishes made of a combination of rice and lentils with very little spices which is cooked in a single pot which symbolizes Unity.
