My condition also same whenever i lands in delhi, but i can read and write in hindi little bit, don't know to speak fluently & understand some What, now we have many softwares talk on behalf of us lol
 
Today as a South Indian, despite all those years of learning Hindi, I still misplace my का s and कीs

I just don't know how to identify the gender of a word (for those who are unaware, Hind is a language wherein every word has a gender).

For example:

कुर्सी (Chair) is female
मेज़् (Table) is male

Did you know that?

If so, how can you tell?

Did you check?

Well, I humbly admit I did! I have checked the top, the bottom, and every nook and corner of the chair and table for any hints indicating its gender and I have found NONE
 
Haha mere hindi bhi karab hai..but still most of the south ppl knows hindi as corporate world in increasing North n South got mixed up so its so difficult to communicate in Hindi...
I have learned hindi from my seniors of South n North ppl...
So utna mushkil nai hai hindi mai Baat karna..jitna jeene keliye hota hai utna hindi aaye tho kafi hai mere hisab se...
