Because for many people, flirting equals smiling, talking a lot, etc. And because of your bubbly personality, they misunderstood you for flirting with other people.
Obviously, they do not know that you have such a wonderful bubbly personality that people like us appreciate. If they talk behind your back, just clarify it to them that you love to talk and smile to everyone and that you’re not flirting. Then, it is up to them to accept that or not. Even if they don’t believe you, continue to be yourself. With a bubbly personality like that, people are more likely to flock to you and enjoy your company. Even though I do not know you, I would probably love to hang out with you in person if I could.....

Let me clear one thing , in case anyone considers your gesture cheap its their problem not yours. If smiling and being nice is seen as flirting, then so be it. Flirting isn't a crime .Honestly, what's even wrong if people think you're flirting? Flirting isn't bad — it's just being charming, playful, and making people feel good. Nothing wrong with spreading good vibes! Just be yourself. Keep treating people the way you treat. Sometimes, people criticized for them whom they want more but could not get. :cool:

Its totally relatable, and I'm owning it! I flirt because I enjoy teasing people, but it's frustrating when others assume I'm flirting even when I'm not.. I use emojis to be friendly not seductive.... ( Mainly that kiss and love emo)... And now I'm like ,If you're going to jump to conclusions, that's on you... Because i don wanna explain anything to anyone... But ya Just don't be surprised if I push back when your assumptions become public...
