As per the IMD prediction, Cyclone Nisarga is going to hit Maharashtra on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday (2nd-3rd June). In order to prevent damage, please find below few advisories to cause minimum damage and loss :
1) All balconies should be clear of any hanging or light material (Flower pots, cardboard boxes, rolling items)
2) Check for any loose glass window, door panel and get it repaired
2) Two wheelers to be on main stand to avoid falling on nearby cars
4) A first aid kid at respective homes for any small cut, bruises
5) Powerbanks should be charged in case of power failure.
6) Ensure sufficient drinking water in case of power loss to water purifier
7) Shoeracks to be bolted well, all shoes and other items to be tucked in well.
8) If you have any DishTV dish placed at your balcony kindly check if its firmly attached and not loose
9) Check the air-conditioner outer units for its firmness
We should ensure that we keep the basement, terrace, fire balcony doors, corridor windows clear and safe.
