Living-Wheel
Some days we feel, as one who left or died
Did we suddenly stall? Or did the world grew bigger?
We want to have an active voice
Over our destiny rule
But then comes the Living-Wheel
And carries destiny away....
World-Wheel, Ferris-Wheel, Mill-Wheel, Whipping-top Wheel
Time spun in an instant,in the leaps of my heart
We go against the current, until we can't resist
We only feel when the boat is back
How much we failed to comply
We've been forever cultivating
The most beautiful rosebush there is
But then comes the Living-Wheel
And carries the rosebush away....
World-Wheel, Ferris-Wheel, Mill-Wheel, Whipping-top Wheel
Time spun in an instant,in the leaps of my heart
The round of the mulatta's skirt
No longer wants to spin, no sir
I can no longer make serenades
The samba circle is gone
We take the initiative
Spanish guitars in hand, singing
But then comes the Living-Wheel
And carries the spanish guitar away....
World-Wheel, Ferris-Wheel, Mill-Wheel, Whipping-top Wheel
Time spun in an instant,in the leaps of my heart
The samba, the spanish guitar, the rosebush
That one day the fire burned
Everything was fleeting illusion
That the first breeze carried away
In the chest captive nostalgia
Pushes the time to stop
But then comes the Living-Wheel
And carries nostalgia away....
World-Wheel, Ferris-Wheel, Mill-Wheel, Whipping-top Wheel
Time spun in an instant,in the leaps of my heart
