The story of Steve Rogers isn't the story of the nerd who got superpowers and stayed humble and became an awesome hero. It's the story of a guy who was ALWAYS a hero. If you are a nerd who says that you see yourself in Captain America, you had better be speaking up NOW. You'd better be entering fights that you'll lose when it's necessary to help others. You'd better be doing your best to make the world a better place every minute of your life, and not waiting until you have superpowers to do it, because Steve Rogers sure didn't wait.
