On your points....
1. people might match better... a bit agree with you, but also many times the wont match.... might be a forceful one from the side of family..... (#some cases)
2. um ya parents understand us better cause they gave us birth, but also we should not keep every pressure in their head...
3. Financial security.... I wont agree.. if its a true love marriage its all about sharing and being together... so nothing special for the case of arrange marriage.
4. culture similarities.... culture wont matter.. and ya when you are in love with some one... you cooperate with each other's culture that's a beauty too..
5. Family connections are strengthen..... not a case... I have seen cases where even after arrange marriagetwo family never matched with each others mindset...
6. Similar values... nah not a case.... values ones get by their parents and environment where they get up.. it would never match... what so ever be the case... we are all unique...
7. Love is not often a factor...... Oh come on !!! Marriage without a Love...... then its of course done for advantage of any single person.... Man, Marriage is all about love and commitment for life..... its an unending bonding....
8. Potential Higher divorce rate....... Now I got you it was all about jokes on arrange marriage :giggle:

BTW lastly I would Say be it Love or arrange marriage..... Both are good at there own place, But it should be done out of Pure love, Feelings and Mutual commitment ........

Most people think divorce is a word that equates freedom - yeah in an abusive/ toxic marriage, but the trauma, stigma and toll it takes on one's life is daunting !!! Divorce by mutual consent with co - parenting in the future is fine.

Funny humans tend to open up and talk happily with strangers eg: like this platform, but when it comes to his/her spouse - they are restrictive and double standarded !

Pssst , these days a divorce is hard mainly on men - A man grown as mom's little prince expects the same from the millenial wife and ends up alone. Its girls who are happy to be out and soar high !

Yuppeee Pinkii so truly said..... for toxic relationship yaaa... Divorce is a medicine.... cause toxicity and tortures cant be taken for long..
and so true that when its divorce only out of advantage or not understanding the other person's feeling towards you or that you found someone better than him/ her hurts a lot..... especially for us girls.... it hurts a lot when someone taunts and throws away our real feelings towards them......

and ya for this even im damn sure.... that over here people will say many things and openly give many promises and false execuses and even false life stories..... but with their spouse or siblings what be the case they are restrictive that you should do this you should do that... this is not good that is not good.... while ta sarcasam lies they themslevs practice the same......

A yaa.... Boys now a days become too much conservative and protective towards there counterparts.... ya i agree protective is good but not to that much extent that you should not talk or you should stay between 4 walls all the day.... and so they long to accept the truth and end up being alone......
