It was late at night, and neither of us wanted to sleep.
I kept poking his cheek.
“Stop,” he said, trying not to laugh.
“Make me,” I grinned.
He grabbed my hand quickly. “Got you.”
I tried to pull away, laughing. “Leave me!”
“Too late,” he said, pulling me closer.
I smiled, acting annoyed. “You’re so annoying.”
“And you love it,” he replied.
I rolled my eyes but didn’t move away.
Just 2 a.m. thoughts nothing real just a little dream I didn’t want to end.
