Good evening 
I can talk to anyone…
words never fail me.
They come easy,
like they’ve always known where to go.
But with you…
they fall apart.
It’s like my thoughts pause
somewhere between feeling and saying,
like my mind forgets how to translate
what you do to me.
I don’t go quiet because I have nothing
I go quiet because it’s too much.
Too much to explain,
too much to place into simple words,
too much… to risk revealing.
And maybe that’s what scares me
that the one person
I want to speak endlessly with…
is the one who leaves me
completely undone in silence.
