When the Mind Refuses to Witness

Satya

Epic Legend

The unaware mind makes a mess,
Then calls it "karma" or "nature’s stress,"
"Apocalypse" or "nature’s fury," it spits,
But it’s just the truth it refuses to admit.

It sees a storm, a drought, a fire,
And hides behind words, too scared to face what's dire,
Blames the world, blames fate,
But won’t see how it sealed its own fate.

It ignores the damage, runs from the cause,
Chasing lies that never pause,
Words are shields, thoughts block the way,
Only awareness can clear the day.

To fix the earth, to make it right,
Awareness is the truth, silent and bright,
Not in labels or stories we make,
But in the now, where we don't fake.

Exactly my friend...

Most of people do the same...

They never evaluate them own..

But I think in spite of blame we should believe in introspection...

Well executed mitra :clapping: :fest:

Thanks a lot, mitra! I totally get what you’re saying. Most people tend to blame things like karma or fate instead of looking within. Introspection, or reflecting on our actions, is definitely a good first step toward understanding.

But I see introspection still involves thinking and judging things. Truth, on the other hand, isn’t something we need to think about or analyze. It’s just there, in the present, right in front of us. It’s not about what we believe or think it’s about seeing things clearly as they are.

That’s what I’m getting at in the poem: the unaware mind creates problems and then hides behind stories or beliefs. To fix things, we need to see things as they truly are, without all the thinking and excuses.

I’m glad you liked the poem, and I really appreciate your insightful observation on it. :happy1::heart1:
