What is Doomsday?

Do you believe it's going to happen very soon?

Doomsday theorists were once convinced the world would end on Dec. 21, 2012. Apparently, the reading of the Mayan calendar was incorrect, so this is your one-week warning. A report in The New York Post states that a recent conspiracy theory on Twitter is predicting doomsday for next Sunday, June 21.

Whenever i see ths doomsday word i just remember 2012 movie and 21-12-2012 is end of the world or a similar catastrophe according to mayan calender.Once again they predicting world gona end in 21-6-2020

Doomsday is a exciting myth entertained by those more interested in fantasy than science. Human extinction is a very strong reality, but little interest in that far less entertaining science exists among the masses. If I were to guess when it were to happen I would provide a time that you would have no ability to comprehend. It would be based on science which knows that our sun will inevitably die in a very violent manner that exceeds all human understanding at a time so far off that it too is beyond the scope of human understanding. If I made you feel stupid at least I helped your focus of understanding.
