In a world of broken promises and divided homes,
A child unloved, caught in the crossroads, roams.
With hearts torn asunder, parents gone astray,
I'm left to navigate a tumultuous fray.
In the midst of their battles, I stand in despair,
Lost in the chaos, burdened by their share.
Their love, once united, now shattered and torn,
Leaving me orphaned, adrift and forlorn.
I yearn for their presence, a warm, guiding hand,
But their absence lingers, like castles in the sand.
Their voices, once harmonious, now distant and cold,
Leaving me to wonder if love was ever truly bold.
I witness the bitterness, the anger they share,
A heavy burden, too heavy for a child to bear.
I long for their embrace, their soothing words of solace,
But all I find is emptiness, a void I can't erase.
Yet amidst the turmoil, a flicker of strength takes hold,
A resilience within me, a story yet untold.
For though I'm unloved by those I hold dear,
I'll find love within myself, casting away the fear.
I'll paint my own rainbow in the darkest of skies,
Discovering the beauty hidden within my own eyes.
Through the storm, I'll rise, standing tall and strong,
Finding solace in the lyrics of my own song.
For I am not defined by their love or their strife,
I'll carve my own path, creating a vibrant life.
In the fragments of their love, I'll find my own way,
A child unloved, but still worthy of a brighter day.
So I'll embrace the love that blossoms from within,
Nurturing my spirit, letting new beginnings begin.
For a child unloved can still rise above,
And in the face of adversity, find solace and love.
