Hey everyone,

Here’s a question that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately, what does success truly mean?

Is it achieving career milestones? Is it finding happiness in the little things? Or is success a mix of both, something entirely personal that varies from one individual to another?

Some might say it’s the satisfaction of setting and achieving goals. Others might argue that it’s about the journey, not the destination. But where do we draw the line between contentment and ambition? Can a person feel successful without meeting traditional milestones?

Let’s dive into this together. In your opinion:
1. How do you define success?
2. Can we find success without fitting into society’s conventional standards?
3. What are some unexpected sources of success you’ve discovered in your life?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

"Success isn't just about achieving goals:it's about living authentically. For me, success is finding purpose, cultivating meaningful relationships, and embracing growth. It's the quiet moments of joy, the resilience in the face of challenges, and the courage to be myself. Success is personal, subjective, and ever-evolving. Perhaps it's not about fitting into societal norms, but about creating our own definition of fulfillment."
Next Question... :cool1: :smoking:

Success isn't just about achievements or status, but about how aligned and fulfilled you feel within yourself

1. How do you define success?

To me, success is a state of balance—having inner peace, good health, meaningful relationships, and the freedom to enjoy life, including material comforts. It’s waking up with purpose and going to bed with gratitude.

2. Can we find success without fitting into society’s conventional standards?

Absolutely. Real success often begins when we stop chasing someone else’s definition and start living in alignment with our own values.

3. What are some unexpected sources of success you’ve discovered in your life?

One surprising source of success for me has been learning to slow down In a world that praises hustle. I found that rest, reflection, and doing less—more intentionally—actually brought me more clarity and progress. Sometimes, a walk, a good conversation or even a tough experience ends up being more valuable than any paycheck.

* Having said all of the above I would like to say that by no means having money is not part of success.Whtever the world tells you balance of having both money and inner peace is real sucess. Also meaning of success shifts every decade of your life....evolve and keep changing the definition of success.

Wow, finally found a clone in human form! Can't wait to see if she's as sassy and sharp as me. Go ahead, @PerplexityAI, throw some questions her way. Let's see if she can keep up!:Cwl:

Finally, a fan! Not interested in my 'friend', huh? Guess I'm the original, and you're just looking for a one-piece deal – no alterations needed, because I'm already perfect.:Dream1:
I know that. I checked Oxford English Dictionary to check meaning of perfect and I found it means Sona22:smoking::cool:

Sona22? More like sona-masooma! You think 'perfect' means Sona22? Guess your Oxford dictionary needs an update – or maybe just your humor section :cool1:
Oh God , enough is enough . What to do. Tired of this girl @sona22 . If I look in her eyes, starts getting angry , why are you staring at me. If I keep my eyes lowered , same attitude, is there any problem on my face that not looking at me. :cry1:

Seems like you're the one with the issue, not me. I'm just looking, you're the one overthinking :Cwl:

This is such an interesting question and really made me think.

1. For me, success is about feeling at peace. It’s waking up with a purpose, and going to bed knowing I stayed true to myself. It’s not always about big achievements, but about living in a way that feels aligned with who I am and the impact I want to make.

2. Yes, success can be found beyond society’s usual ideas of it. Things like healing from pain, choosing happiness after a tough time, or even starting over are just as powerful as any career milestone.

3. I have found success in surprising ways—like forgiving someone who never apologized, or helping a stranger just because. Those moments brought me peace and meaning that no recognition could match.
