About two weeks ago the world watched with both amazed and suspicious eyes the news released by NASA informing that the satellite TESS had found a planet they called Super-Earth, 31 light-years away from us.
Super-Earth is an exoplanet with a mass higher than planet Earth and substantially lower than other planets in the solar system. Super-earth may be able to host life if proved in long term studies that it contains liquid water in its surface.
The discovery has once again started the topic of exoplanet exploration in search of a new home for the human race in case our planet can no longer support us.
This kind of scenario has been portrayed in many sci-fi movies as in a way of criticizing how we take care of our planet.
