Stop differentiating !!!

• Treat both son and daughter the same!!!
• Stop commenting that the boys are more stronger than girls!!
• Stop planting the idea that the girl needs to be protected and should be in the shadows!!
• Stop treating the boy as special and keep reminding him that he is going to carry on the family name!!
• When going out let not the father tell the boy that he is the man of the house and he needs to take care of mommy and sister!!
• Let not the father and son get together and make male chauvinistic remarks against the mother and daughter!!!
• Give some time to the girl to, hear / discuss her dreams, likes, dislikes, plans, aspirations, ambitions etc
• Stop differentiating between toys for boys and girls. Let it be known that is OK for them to play with any toy they like!!!
• When growing up, let the children know that there is no girl’s task and a boy’s task. Both can be done by any one of them!!!

I think everyone gets the drift on what I am saying. We are the culprits to generate the bias right from the time the child is born.
