Long post but somebody might need to hear this 
Loving your partner without restriction and trusting them without fear is one of the bravest things you can do. Over the years I’ve learned that it takes courage to open your heart fully, knowing that vulnerability always carries risk. But with the right person, that level of transparency becomes something beautiful. It becomes a source of strength, empowerment, and freedom. When you love deeply and unconditionally, it’s not about control or demands. It’s about seeing the best in your partner, even on their toughest days, and wanting the best for them simply because you love them.
Loving someone in the small, everyday ways takes patience and care. It’s about doing the little things with great love such as: learning what makes them smile, easing their burdens, and being attuned to their emotions. It’s not just about passion but also about being a steady presence, showing up even when life gets hard. True love requires study. It asks you to learn your partner’s language, like how they express love, how they need to be loved, and how you can be their safe place in a world full of chaos.

Some women, after dealing with clowns and heartbreakers for too long, find themselves self-sabotaging when they finally meet a man with the heart of a King. Likewise, some men, after years of being drained by toxic relationships, struggle to recognize the value of a Queen when she’s right in front of them. It’s a harsh truth but a necessary one: you can’t give a prime-rib type of love to someone who has only ever known bologna. They won’t know what to do with it, and they may not even believe they deserve it

I just thank God that I haven’t given up on it I haven’t always gotten it right but I am certain that I’m capable of loving someone’s son the proper way and I for sure know that I’m deserving of receiving as well.
