Silence, for me, is a form of relaxation an escape into who I truly am. It’s the space where I learn the depth of my emotions, the weight of my thoughts, and the strength it takes to hold them in.
In silence, I allow my emotions to breathe, to exist without disturbance. I watch from afar, embracing the happiness of those I love, even if my presence is absent from their joy.
My heart never desires silence, it longs to speak, to be heard, to be felt. But my mind, ever rational, prefers the quiet it finds comfort in restraint, in solitude, in the unspoken.
Just as darkness reveals the true worth of light, silence unveils our place in the hearts of those we love. It is in the stillness that we truly understand who cherishes us, who misses us, and who only notices our absence when the noise is gone.
