Hide and Seek

**I'm going to name these furballs just because it's easier for me to write about them; Rikku and Avril.**

*hooman comes home from long day at work*

Rikku is sat on the arm of the sofa, waiting, her tail wagging excitedly

Me: "Hey Rikku" *gives her ears a good scratch and glances around the room* "Where's Avril?"

Rikku "Hiding... you'll have to find her..."

Me: "Avril!" *Looks inside the cat tree* "Where are you girl?"

Rikku: "Try calling her name a few more times, there's a good hooman!"

Me: "Avril?" *Looks behind arm chairs and sofas" *huh* "Avril, where are you?"

Rikku: "Ooooh this is so fun to watch!" *Licks paws* "This hooman is so clueless!!"

Me: "Rikku, where is your sister?" *I'm starting to panic, I look in the bedroom, underneath the bed, on top of the bed, behind the curtains*

Rikku: *follows into the bedroom, sits in middle of the floor her tail wagging* "Nopes, you'll not find her in here!"

Me: *phones someone up, to brainstorm potential hiding locations...* "Hmm... inside the kitchen cupboards... Avril can't open doors can she?"

Rikku: *stops whatever she's doing and looks at me curiously.* "We're not stoopid you know!"

Me: *opens one kitchen cupboard, empty, opens second kitchen cupboard, empty. Opens third kitchen cupboard... finds Avril curled up inside huge bag of pasta asleep*

Avril: "Miaow, do you mind, I'm sleeping!"

Cats have some talent eh !?! Ofcourse they can open doors!!!

I had these two for years before they suddenly decided they were going to open a door, the main doors are easier for them to open than cupboard doors. but in this instance I'm thinking I might have forgotten to close the cupboard door, and Rikku knocked it closed on Avril lol

This is too cute! Rikku and Avril definitely know how to keep you on your toes. I love how they keep you guessing. It's like they have a whole game of hide and seek going on with you
