One of the hardest goodbyes is to happen when we love someone and at the same time see that it is impossible to build a healthy relationship with them.

That's such a powerful message. Sometimes, saying goodbye really is an act of self-love and self-preservation. It’s tough because when we care deeply, it feels counterintuitive to let go. But staying in a situation that’s harmful or stagnant can lead us to lose pieces of ourselves bit by bit.
