Raja Sir... Maestro... Isaignani
It's not necessary to introduce him... this is my short snippet on how i got introduced to Raja Sir and fell in love with his music...
Everyone can imagine our parents being born in his peak time, savor his music than anyone else...My parents ain't no different.. they listen to his songs quite often on tv...
When young I never appreciated his music that much, eventhough i have listened to his songs many times. I was being hip about English songs...Justin Beiber, Bruno Mars, Linkin Park...
Then came closer to my 10th board exams, I wasn't allowed to watch tv anymore for my studies. I started listening to Radio on my phone for a change, before i go to sleep.
On one fine February night, I stumbled on a program called "Naan Nee Raja sir" by RJ senthil...
Senthil did an amazing work on introducing the songs and his thoughts on Raja sir...
One night becomes countless nights...
Even now I am typing this thread listening to his songs...
please do post your earlier memory of Ilayaraja or your fav Raja song...
one of my fav...

With start of the bird chirping sounds... u hear spb singing... 'Ithu oru pon malai pozithu'
followed by another song 'Va vennila'
Enai sera edhir paarthu ..munnam ezhu jenmam yenginen
these words made sense ... that i am happy to be lived in his times and enjoyed his creations.
