The most popular Hanuman Jayanti in India is observed in Chaitra Month - this is on April 16

in Telangana, Hanuman Jayanti is observed on on Chaitra Purnima (April 16, 2022)

In Andhra Pradesh , Hanuman Jayanti is observed after a 41-day Deeksha which begins on Chaitra Purnima (April 16, 2022). in Andhra Pradesh Hanuman Jayanti is on May 25th 2022.

In Odisha, Hanuman Jayanti is observed during Vishuba Sankranti (April 14).


Hanuman Jayanti is also observed some communities during Diwali (October 23, 2022). This is observed on the previous day of Diwali.

In Karnataka - Another popular day dedicated to Hanuman is the Hanumantha Vrata observed in Margashirsh month (November - December) in Karnataka and parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is on December 5, 2022.

In Tamil Nadu, Hanuman Jayanti is observed during the Margazhi month (December – January) (December 23, 2022 as per Tamil panchangam
