There was a forest where some monkeys lived. With the arrival of summer, the ponds and canals in the forest completely dried up. One day, the monkeys were extremely thirsty. They crossed the forest in search of water. There, they saw shimmering waves of water in the sand.
Thinking that they were water, the monkeys ran towards it in a group. When they went to the shore, they saw that there was no water there, but they saw shimmering waves of water a little further away. With that, the monkeys ran back ahead. Thus, the monkeys continued searching for water in the sun along the shimmering waves.
“If I don’t wet my throat with water, I will die,” said
one monkey pitifully. “What can we do… I can see water but I can’t reach it. What is this…” said another monkey. A rabbit lived in the bush. The rabbit saw everything that happened. She came and stood in front of the monkeys to help them.
“Is there water anywhere in the shimmering waves? There is a pond nearby. Go there and quench your thirst,” she said. Hearing this, the monkeys became very angry.
“Are we stupid?” said one monkey, jumping up on the rabbit and grabbing its neck. “What I am saying is true. Believe me,” the rabbit shouted in fear. The monkey knocked the rabbit down hard. The rabbit screamed and died.
Moral : If you tell the good of fools, this is the result

Thank you for sharing the full story. This fable teaches a valuable lesson about the consequences of sharing wisdom or good advice with those who are not receptive or wise enough to appreciate it.

The story highlights the monkeys' foolishness and stubbornness, as they refuse to listen to the rabbit's guidance and instead attack and kill her.

The moral "If you tell the good of fools, this is the result" serves as a cautionary warning about:

1. The importance of discerning who is worthy of our trust and guidance.
2. The potential dangers of sharing wisdom with those who are not ready or able to appreciate it.
3. The consequences of arrogance and refusing to listen to good advice.

This story encourages empathy, self-awareness, and wise communication.

This is the short story I love the most in this kind of genre!

Source: Google

A little bird was flying south for the Winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.

While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.

The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:

(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

(3) And when you’re in deep shit, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

This story carries a deep lesson about wisdom, perception, and the consequences of ignorance. The monkeys, blinded by their desperation and false beliefs, refused to listen to the rabbit, who genuinely wanted to help. Their arrogance and foolishness led to harm, not only for the rabbit but ultimately for themselves as well.

Moral:

Fools reject wisdom and harm those who try to help.

Blind belief without understanding leads to destruction.

True intelligence lies in listening, learning, and trusting those with knowledge.

A powerful yet tragic tale that reminds us to value wisdom and not let ignorance cloud our judgment.

A Motivational Moral Story

The Four Trees

Once upon a time in a land not too far away, Four Trees started to grow on top of a small hill.

Three of the trees are very selfish, arrogant and proud trees always boasting how big and tall they will become, teasing each other how they will live forever.

The fourth tree is all happy and content, just to be a tree.

As time passes the three proud and selfish trees spend all their days growing as tall and impressive as they can, boasting each and everyday how wonderful they will be

The fourth tree listens but is all happy and content, just to be a tree.

Many years pass and the three trees all look impressive and have grown straight and tall, but they have grown ever more arrogant, selfish and proud, boasting and teasing constantly how they are better than the other and how surly they will now live forever.

The fourth tree isn’t the best looking or the tallest but is all happy and content, just to be a tree.

The woodcutter comes along and cuts the three proud, arrogant trees down to the ground. The first tree is made into the City Gates the second tree a Great Warship and the third tree into a Great Place of Worship.

Each of the three trees is proud and happy of their new position in society, boasting that they are better than the other and how they really will live forever.

The fourth tree is all happy and content, just to be a tree.

A great army comes to attack, the City Gates are destroyed, the great Warship is sunk in the harbour and the Great Place of Worship burnt to the ground.

Only the fourth tree survives growing on the hill all happy and content, just to be a tree.

The fourth tree knows that it can not live forever. That the day must come when the fourth tree will too pass away,

But not before it sets seed to Four little Trees growing on that hill, all Happy and Content, Just To Be a tree!

Moral of Story:

True greatness lies not in the pursuit of self-importance and pride, but in the humility to embrace one’s unique place in the world, the wisdom to appreciate life’s simple joys, and the kindness to leave a legacy of positive influence.
