Another example of single man bravery from India.

Dashrath Manjhi, famously known as the ‘Mountain Man’ is a courageous man who proved that nothing is beyond the capability of even a common man. His life gives a moral lesson that even a common man, with no money or power can bring down a mighty mountain.

Manjhi’s commitment and dedication in breaking the gigantic mountain and carving a road to provide access to his village serves a loud and clear message that every hurdle can be overcome, if one makes a committed effort. His 22 years of relentless work started bearing fruit, as the road laid by him is fully operational now providing easy access to thousands of men and women to medical and other facilities.

Manjhi’s efforts yield positive results after his years of hardwork. Dashrath, single-handedly carves out a 360-feet-long, 30-feet-high and 30-feet-wide passage through the mountain. He successful ly makes a difference to the lives of thousands of villagers by shortening the 55 kms distance into 15 kms.
