Happy 383rd Birthday Chennai..

August 22 1639 was the Day when the east Indian Company decided to buy chennapatanam from Damarla Venkatadri Nayakar of Vijayanagar Empire. Thus "Madras " was Born .
Chennai has been hometown for many and mostly home away from Home or second home for most of us .. Even though we bicker , talk Ill about how hot the city is . How bad the traffic is etc and compare to our home cities , Deep down we cannot ignore the fact that we love chennai .. it's not just a city for someone like me it's a feeling :heart1:

Do share your favorite spot in chennai .. Mine has always been Elliot Beach Besant Nagar ..

I went twice to Chennai. Once on an industrial tour and second time for an interview. The memorable one was the “ triumph of labour” statue in Marina beach. Group of friends tried to depict the same for pictures and all the positions facing camera was taken and I end up showing my bum. CE726278-0958-45B7-A949-4648B9FABC24.jpeg
