As he trailed his skin along my spine, I bent slightly, his gaze still fixed intently on me. Clad in black lingerie, our shared favorite color, he wore loose-fitting trousers. His warm breath danced across my ear as he sniffed gently, then pressed his lips against my earlobe. I arched further, succumbing to pleasure, as he sucked tenderly without hesitation. A soft moan escaped my lips.
"Hear...artttt..." The whispered words trembled from my lips, a shiver coursing through my entire being.
He didn't listen, his fingers curling around my hair as he pulled me close. Our fingers intertwined, we gazed together at the black cake waiting for us. Our eyes met, and he blinked, his lips brushing gently against the skin below mine. My jaw dropped, and I smiled radiantly.
"Happy birthday, heart!" I whispered as he was offering me a creamy bite of cake. "Happy anniversary, dear."
"Anniversary?" I asked, my voice tinged with curiosity, as I savored the cake and licked the remaining cream.
"Yeah, four years and counting!" he exclaimed.
"But today's not..." I began, but he silenced me with a gentle press of his finger against my lips.
"It doesn't matter, dear," he whispered. "I'm just glad it's been four years and more, and it's still counting. The actual day doesn't matter."
I gazed at him, my heart skipping a beat. I smiled, and he raised an eyebrow.
"Let's cut the cake, hmm?" he suggested.
"Yeah," I replied, taking the knife and handing it to him. He took my hands, and together we sliced through the moist layers. I took a piece and fed it to him, and he did the same, our eyes locked in a tender moment.
And then, without warning, he claimed my lips in a passionate kiss. My eyes widened in surprise, but I melted into his embrace, our tongues entwining in a deep, intense kiss. Time stood still as we lost ourselves in the moment.
After what felt like an eternity, he broke away, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Don't leave me!"
My eyes widened in surprise, and I smiled, taking his hand and placing it on my chest.
"Look at me," I whispered. "You're here, and you'll always be, until my last breath. I swear, my love, by calling you my heart, I mean it with every fiber of my being."
His gaze locked onto mine, and I whispered again, "Happy birthday, heart."
The music flowing through the room seemed to echo our emotions, the lyrics whispering sweet nothings in our ears: "And it's just as good as I knew it would be, Stay with me, I don't want you to leave."
