Complete.
"I lay you down on your back and crawl on top of you. Brush your hair away from your face and kiss you softly and passionately. Holding both your hands."
I blink at his message, caught off guard. We had been chatting like always—playful, teasing, easy. And then this.
A shift. A moment suspended between words and emotions.
"What’s going on in your mind?" I type. "Are you okay?"
His reply comes instantly.
"I’m with you. I’m perfect. Like a part of me that’s been missing feels complete now."
And just like that, my heart clenches in the sweetest way. His words seep into me, wrapping around something deep and unspoken inside.
I don’t know what to say. Because what can you say when someone tells you they feel whole with you? When someone, across distance and time, reaches for you—not just with their words but with their soul?
I don’t hold back. I give myself to him in the way we always do, in whispers and longing, in words that bridge the space between us. In love that we make, not with touch, but with us.
And as the intensity fades into something softer, as my body relaxes, my eyelids grow heavy.
"I’m falling asleep," I whisper.
"Sleep, love. I’ve got you."
I let myself drift, safe in the warmth of his words, safe in the feeling of being his.
And for the first time in a long time, I let myself feel… complete.
Complete.
