No matter how loud I say the true feelings of my heart, they are easy dismissed right from the start. Yet I'm so supposed to be free and forward and have an open heart. I wear my heart never-ending up on sleeve, unaware of the unwanted burden as it rips from the seems. Torn asunder from above and below, left right and centre, to and fro. I yearn to be held, your head resting against my beating chest, your hand in mine, everything calm and bliss...

The rattles of emotions seeping up from the soles of my feet to the confines of my brain, all the words and feelings and needs and wants banging around. Never ceasing always increasing, not having the knowledge or understanding that I need to open my mouth for the words... to come out...

I don't preempt any of the poems I write, once a particular mood hits me and I get an initial thought I just go with the flow, so what comes from it comes from it. So I guess in a way it is as raw as it can be
