Any thoughts about STEM Education?

Hi...

Learning is always fun, when taught the right way. A new day should welcoem students (irrespective of age) with new thoughts and concepts. But that does not seem the case in everyday life. Meanwhile, people are speaking about STEM Education being introduced in schools. But is it really following the discipline of STEM education? Or is it a mere hush up activity trying to rip off money from parents by just handing kids 'kits and assembly units'? What according to you would be the best way to impart learning at school (Gade 5 to Grade 10)?

- Would love to have your thoughts and inputs. Future is awaiting.

Wot about other subjects

URum and KIARA

Whatever you have spoken about are distinct discipline of study. For example, in my stem approach, we will also be presenting various minerals, rocks, soils, and other stuff related to geography and nature. This broadly falls into acheology. We are talking at the school level, where we have few basic subjects. Architecture involves a lot of understanding of physics and mathetmatics, along with artistic and presentation skills. While Mathematics and Physics can be addresed at young age, the other aspects need development of mind, which happens at later ages.
