According to me, when someone turns one year old, it is their first birthday...
On reaching on the point (birth date) one is called winner (birthday)
As the individual reaches at his or her first time birth date, then it's called first birthday

First birthday means the kid is one year old. So that happens after completing 1 year from the date of birth.
