Adjustment and understanding are complimentary to each other....
I am not in favour of adjustment at all but only at very few moments it's necessary too..
Adjustment isn't a topic to be bothered about when understanding level is good. That kind of understanding comes with proper communication,love and patience.

Adjustment and understanding are the the 2 sides of the same coin. Both go hand in hand. Without one the other is not possible and vice versa. You only adjust if and when you understand the other person's perspective and if you understand the other person you are willing to adjust.
When there is understating in a relationship, the little adjustments that the both of you make is know as a compromise and both of you are willing to compromise for each other because you understand each other. Now, when you don't have understanding into each other’s insights, you would name the little adjustments that you make as sacrifices, something that you do unwillingly.
