Fictional
Walking through thy small lane was thy only possible solution to access thy remote village. Thy roads were dusty. Thy buildings were made of sand n hay. Poverty was a stuff dat thy people born in thy village inherited innate n carried firm. I was given a task to conduct thy government hospital over der, OMG! People aren't even provided wid primary knowledge n women r unaware of thy use sanitary pads. Men sow thy seeds in neighbor's wife. To introduce pads in place of hey, n complexity of warts n AIDS were just out of question. OK, OK! Mrs. Mind, pls stop over thinking n tryna work here to make people a lil civilized.I clutched my phone. Dialed thy number of my guide. The screen bumped for few seconds n then the voice bloomed-
'The number you are calling is currently busy, please call after s.....'
before hearing it completely, I pressed thy end icon n a quick press.

OK, U needa find thy way all alone Mrs. Mind- I said to myself. During thy medical camp conducted by university of MIT, almost all villagers were recognized wid AIDS. Thy medical officers tried their best to enunciate thy sexual awareness. Thou thy village was profoundly a place of "harlots", n thy life of women were highly bum. Woman were forced to do their private sanitary activities in public fields.
I way passed thy buildings, fields n in a matter of tym, there I was in front of a premises- a board suggesting- 'Aspathal of X'
N I found my guide. Thy very second, my medical mind found him in a state of Catathrenia, as he groaned loud while sleeping.
I shook his shoulders, n he bobbed out of thy partially broken chair.
'Namaste Dactor madom, how can I help we?'- he tried to make thy sentence dat he byhearted.
I grinned a lil, thou wid ease replied him in his native language, 'You can talk in Punjabi, bhai'
He gave me a smile in thy most appealing way possible.
'Anhad Bauria' he introduced himself widout any decorations.

'Dr. X' I gave him my hand, in hope of a handshake, rather he did a close examination of my hands n then squeezed it until I let down a mild cry. Weird! Ugh! I shrugged my shoulders n followed him, he fetched down my luggage to a muted corridor n then to a small room dat looked like a coop. Again my mind voice boomed- 'LOL wait! R u gonna stay here? ouch'......... Yes 'm- I replied.
In thy eve, I walked outta thy hospital n went to thy lane. Thy houses were all arranged in a row widout any separation- n *no* doors!! I coughed as thy sandy atmo made me chock. Tho, I walked again n stopped in front of a tent, I saw a lil things going inside- two men were standing- a woman on her knees was giving thy lads smooch. I peeped a lil more n found one more ou standing beside her, n in a rhythmic flow he was inserting his pole without covers. My mouth went wide open. My mind started working n in a quick jerk,
WALK AWAY!
Ahem! Let them die, said my mind voice. Shut up- I replied her.
In my way back, my mind questioned my thoughts n my thoughts questioned my mind-
'fuck off from thy damn place or they w'd make u a mare'
I went back to my room, slept, n then woke up thy very next mrng.
The clock ticked 10 am.
I walked to thy podium. Either side was besieged by thy villagers along wid their offsprings- thou they were there to welcome thy guests to thy stage n I was one among them; they weren't dressed good n most of them had torn dresses. Among them I saw thy lady whom I witnessed yesternyt. She was holding a girl n a boy. *Leave it* said my mind. Thy village was rural n un-urbanized for sure- lil facilities available. This was thy first government hospital in thy village, opened a decade ago n due to thy over dedication of government officers it took almost 9 years to come into existence.
To be continued...
