Expressing love and regretting it or never expressing it and regretting it?

:map:

This question has been on my mind a lot.

Expressing and Regretting:

You gather all your courage, put your heart on the line, and say it out loud. But what if things don’t go as you hoped? Rejection, awkwardness, or even losing the person completely—these thoughts haunt you. The regret of "Maybe I shouldn't have said it" lingers.

:brokenheart:

Never Expressing and Regretting:

You keep it all inside, convincing yourself it’s safer this way. You watch from a distance as life moves on, as they move on. And one day, you wonder—"What if?" The regret of "Maybe things could have been different" never leaves.

So, which one is worse? Is it better to take the risk and deal with the consequences, or is silence the greater regret?

:speechless1:

Would love to hear your thoughts!
Have you ever faced this dilemma?
How did it turn out for you?

Never expressing and regretting it ! Coz obviously for the “what ifs”
I may keep it cool but not for too long i would confess and express >.>

Meanwhile, being expressive isn’t somethin i would ever regret, i expressed all the love and care? Which im actually willing to do. It might hurt me, but its fine life works that way —when it’s never meant for you. Hehe ~^…^

Expressing is always better than regretting. Even if it hurts, at least you were true to yourself!

Never expressing and regretting it is more painful. At least when you express, you get closure—whether it’s joy or heartbreak. But living with a "what if" can haunt you forever
