A 10 day leave is not sufficient per year - but this is a good start actually ! Hope more companies will come forward and do the same .
Instead of providing leave they can provide female employees 12 packs of good quality pads.

Awwww @The Viper , they can buy the pads by tbemselves dude! The leave is to let the body rest a while - from the pain, bloating, excessive bleeding. And 10 days a year just makes 1 day per month/ 12 months . Where are the remaining two months ?

If you say this statement out loud mate, they gonna ask you to carry the kid, and have the same menstrual periods. So, yeah they need leave at least first two days, becoz those pain cramping are un-bearable sometimes.
